Harvest Evangelism (videos)

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009

Harvest Evangelism is a ministry based out of Auburn, AL and doing work on a global scope.  One of their big focuses is the border town of Reynosa Mexico, where they minister at an orphanage called Casa Hogar M.A.Mi., work at a shanty town known simply as “the canal” and minister through services in many other small neighborhoods.  Harvest has a ministry in Auburn called His Place that is a safe home and rehab center for men, and Hosanna Home, the same for women.  Their ministry is incredibly diverse in it’s attempts to show God’s love and they are very dedicated to being anywhere and everywhere that they can in order to do so.

Check out their site HERE.

This is the multi media presentation on the shanty town “The Canal”

Kenya was Malarone…this time it’s Chloroquine…whatever the malaria medicine…Bedouins is on the move again.  March 29th Paul and I will fly out of Birmingham airport headed for 8 days in Honduras.  5 flights, 3 different cities, lobster divers, videos and photo…I can’t wait.

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

I finally gave up on trying to handle all of our phone traffic on my personal cell phone and have moved us to vonnage.  Our new number will be 205.705.3123

Give us a call, the line kicks in on friday!  Here’s Paul’s initial failed attempt at getting us a phone…the second try was much better :)

Hotels

Saturday, February 7th, 2009

Only 2 nights in my own bed after my trip to Africa and I find myself in a hotel again.  It’s a weird feeling, coming and going.  I love traveling, and God is letting me live my dream in that I get to see the world…to photograph it and enjoy it.  But I miss my bed sometimes.  Miss my home.  Miss my friends, my roommates, the Bedouins staff…

I’m really excited about next week…7 nights in a row in my own bed.  7 days in a row in the loft working and shooting and editing.  It’s nice to be grounded sometimes.

One more from Kenya…many more to come.  Love you guys.
