Story of the Week: Boy With A Ball

Each week Bedouins International  posts a story. Maybe it’s one we’ve helped to tell, or a story we hope to tell, or it maybe it’s just a story we think deserves to be told. In any case, we hope you find them inspiring and motivating. Read more stories here.

Boy with a Ball is a non-profit based in San Antonio, TX and San Jose, Costa Rica who believes that the future of every country can best be changed by changing the hearts, minds and behaviors of our youth.

“Our belief is that well-developed young people and families will go on to transform their neighborhoods, beginning a grassroots movement that will then transform their city.”

BWAB works by what they call a “Theory of Change.” Through agressive outreach they build one-to-one mentoring relationships. These relationships come together into small group communities and through these communities individuals are equipped not only to overcome their own issues but also to turn and equip others.

I am excited to see what else this organization has in store for our youth!
