Kiini Film

Friday, May 21st, 2010

I’m down in Alabama for the summer (shooting weddings) and I arrived to an awesome surprise…the film from our trip to Kenya with Kiini was back!  I just downloaded it and did a really quick thumb through and it’s really really fantastic.  I can’t wait to get it all edited and start working on the project in the next couple of weeks.  Here are a few of my quick favorites from the bunch…be back soon with more!

We’re heading to Kenya!

Saturday, April 24th, 2010

It’s almost midnight and tomorrow we fly out!  Jessi and I are all packed and ready and at 6:30 tomorrow afternoon we take off from NYC heading to Kenya for 10 days.  I can’t wait…and below is a great example of why.  We’ll be attempting to update the blog as much as internet permits, and also tweeting throughout our time there, so be sure to check our twitter out!  Until next time…We’re off!

Art of the week: Hearts for the Children

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

We’re going to start something new here at Bedouins:  Every week we’re going to post some of our art.  We’ll share a photo, a video clip, some new design…something to show you some of the art that we’re working on.  We are artists and we’ve decided that should be a part of our blog.  So…to kick it off here’s a photo from our project with Hearts for the Children Ministries in Guatemala.  I’m currently logging audio and building a timeline for the multimedia presentation that we’re putting together for them and can’t wait to share that with you as well.  This image is one that will be a part of “Lupita’s Story”, a project we worked on while in Guatemala.  I will be posting the story chapter by chapter on here very soon with some photos, so you’ll get more context then.  This is one of Lupita’s sons looking out over the field that Lupita works in every day to provide for the family.
